All Aboard ... The Polar Express!

Nonnie and Bubba treated us with gen-u-ine tickets to ride ... The Polar Express! The day after Thanksgiving we loaded up and headed to Palestine. Nonnie got Bailey and Beau matching pajamas, robes, and slippers! She also got Campbell and Charlie matching PJs for the occasion. We all had a great time and we're confident it was an experience the girls will never forget.

They got to sit with Nonnie and Bubba!

Our tables were loaded with mugs of hot chocolate (which we got to keep),
brownies, cookies, candy, and nuts.

A moment of peace - Nonnie and Bubba had both kids!

Someone read The Polar Express over the intercom.
The girls followed along in their own books.

Santa and his elves were waving as the train went by.

The conductor came around and punched our tickets.

Santa got on the train and gave all the kids their very own bell to take home!

Thank you Nonnie and Bubba for such a wonderful adventure!

I hate carrots!

And sweet potatoes.  And peas.  I do love green beans, bananas, and applesauce.  My mom says she'll keep making me try those yucky vegetables!

Seriously?  You want me to eat this?
I don't know what I think about this.
Ok, fine, I'll smile.  Just this once.

Diapers

Remember this?  We made our first diaper purchase last week.  Thanks to our amazing friends and family, we were able to make it SIX months without buying a single package/box of diapers. What a blessing!

Storybook Parade

Last Thursday, Bailey's school had a Storybook Parade. All the kids dressed up as a book character and carried their books in the parade. It was big time with a police escort and the band leading the way! Since Judd was out of town, I took the day off to get Bailey ready, watch the parade, and take pictures, of course!
