Bailey's Theater Debut

This spring Bailey had the choice to play softball or basketball.  She didn't want to do either!  After having so much fun with the Christmas musical at church, she asked to take singing and/or acting classes. Our small town doesn't offer such a thing, so we enrolled her in a storybook production class at Katy Visual Performing Arts Center.  Every Tuesday for eight weeks she went to class and practiced lines and music for Rats, a fun version of the Pied Piper.  Bailey worked hard in class and at home to memorize her parts.  This Tuesday was the day of the performance.  It was too cute!  We are so proud of Bailey for her all-star performance!  She had quite a crowd to support her - Nick, Jaime, Paisley, Presley, and Parker Ferrell; Rachel, Colton, and Barret; and Bailey's second grade teacher, Mrs. Marek!

Opening Day

Campbell is playing t-ball for the first time and loves it!  He and his team have been practicing hard, and they were ready for Opening Day!

Here come the Red Wings!

Campbell's first time to bat!

Funny story: Every player sells raffle tickets to help support the league.  We just bought them all ($20 worth) instead of bugging our friends and family.  We've bought tickets every year, and have never won anything.  Until this year that is!  Judd got a phone call tonight that we won a pitching machine.  A pitching machine!  What are we going to do with that?  We live in a subdivision and our kid plays t-ball!  We haven't decided if we're going to keep it (it could be useful when Campbell gets older) or sell it (retails for almost $200.)  Just what we always wanted/needed!
