Happy Halloween!

The kids really enjoyed Halloween this year! They loved dressing up in their costumes. (Well, eventually...Campbell has worn his a couple of times and each time he throws a FIT at first but then gets over it.) We went to a Fall Festival at our city park then came home to trick-or-treat in our neighborhood. They are all about the candy!

Bailey was a bride!

Check out that diamond ring!

Campbell was Woody from Toy Story!

I think he looks like Judd in this picture!

The maze at the festival - Cam was unsure about it so Bailey had to go back to get him!

Hammering golf tees into pumpkins!

Goin' Fishin'

On our way home we stopped by our good friend Mrs. Sealy's house to trick-or-treat!

When we got home we handed out candy from the back of the car!

Judd's Birthday Weekend!

Maw-Maw and Pop came to visit this weekend to see Bailey cheer and to celebrate Judd's birthday with us! On Friday, we got a call from Campbell's school that he woke up with a fever. Judd took him to the doctor, but by the time they got there he didn't have a fever at all and was fine. Oh well, it was an excuse to see Dr. K! Maw-Maw and Pop took us all out to dinner for Judd's birthday and then the kids got to spend the night with them in their trailer at the state park. On Saturday, we went to Bailey's game, made caramel apples, then Judd & I got to go on a date while the kids spent the night with Maw-Maw and Pop again! We had dinner at the Olive Garden, went to a movie, and as an added bonus the Baylor Bears beat the Longhorns! What a great birthday present!

Halloween Party

Campbell had his Halloween party at school on Thursday. He got to wear his Woody costume and enjoy some Halloween fun with his friends!

Isn't he the cutest cowboy you've ever seen?

We're ready for Halloween!

Red Ribbon Week

Bailey got to participate in her first Red Ribbon Week at school! Each day there was a different theme and the kids got to dress up.

Monday: "Wear Red Day"

Love those pigtails!

Tuesday: "Drugs and I Don't Mix" (wear mismatched clothes)
Check out those shoes!

Wednesday: "Put A Cap On Drugs" (wear an interesting hat)
Bailey wanted to wear her cowgirl hat AND tiarra!

Thursday: "Too Cool To Do Drugs" (wear sunglasses)

Friday: "Scare Away Drugs" (wear a costume)
This isn't her real Halloween costume...

Baylor Homecoming

Baylor Homecoming is always one of our favorite weekends of the year! We have been looking forward to it since we left campus last year! It was truly a reunion as we were able to see lots of friends and family that we don't get to see very often. The kids are becoming bigger Baylor fans every year! I think their blood may be turning green and gold like their parents!

Common Grounds! This kid loves coffee!

Sic 'em Bears! This was not even staged.
They were sitting on this bench yelling "Sic 'em Bears" over and over!

A trip to Baylor is not complete without visiting the bears!

We arrived on campus for the parade at 7:30 AM so we got a great curbside spot!

We always get to see Chelsea at the parade!

Jo-Jo let Bailey play games on her phone while we waited for the parade.

They are besties!

They are second cousins, but they sure do favor each other!

Cousins - Bailey, Jackson, Emily, & Dean
(Campbell would have nothing to do with this!)

My Baylor Roommates Sue Alice (with Brecken) and Ashley (with Caleb). We missed our fourth roomie, Linz and her baby boy Tanner.

On our way to Common Grounds...again!

This is Campbell DONE with pictures!

We had a yummy lunch at Rosa's!

Campbell finally warmed up to Jo-Jo in the final hour!

He warmed up to Dave too!

Judd & Dave

I realized Joanne and I hadn't taken any pictures together so we snapped this before we said goodbye! I sure have missed her - she's a Chicago girl now!

After lunch, Dave and Joanne headed to the football game and we headed home. After about 20 minutes of being in the car, the kids were both sound asleep and slept the whole way home!

What a wonderful weekend! Too bad we didn't go to the game...Baylor beat ranked Kansas State and now qualify for a bowl game! Sic 'em Bears!!!
