19 months

Time is flying by! Campbell is growing up so fast. He is doing new and different things every day. It is amazing to watch. Here's what he's up to at 19 months:
  • He is talking constantly! He'll repeat just about everything we say.
  • Ms. Judy is the nursery worker at our church. She is also the infant teacher at the kids' day care. Therefore, Campbell has been in her care since he was born! He started calling her Ju-Ju, as all the other kids do, a while back. Tonight when we picked Campbell up from the nursery he was calling her Mimi. He said, "Bye-Bye, Mimi. Love you." We asked if anyone else calls her Mimi and she said Campbell is the only one. Oh my goodness! What a sweet boy!
  • He LOVES Sesame Street, especially Elmo. He sings the theme song from Elmo's World. (La-la-la-la- Melmo's Wol)
  • He is really losing an interest in eating dinner. The only thing he seems to like is pancakes and eggs. Our pediatrician said not to worry because he's still gaining weight.
  • He has refused to sit in his booster seat. He would rather sit by himself or on our laps.
  • He is highly offeneded when we put the lid on his sippy cup. He would rather drink without a lid!
  • Campbell is Mr. Independent. He likes to do things himself. He usually eats a banana for breakfast, but he doesn't want help peeling it. He just carries it around for a while until we finally peel it for him. He gets mad at us, but he gets over it eventually.
  • He loves his big sister and wants to do everything she does. He gives her a hug and kiss every night before bed.
  • He likes to turn the light off as we leave a room. He says, "Ight, off."
  • He says, "Shh Daddy." I think that is hilarious, but I wonder if he really knows what it means.
  • He visited Santa this month and did not think highly of him. However, when he sees him on TV or sees pictures of him, he points and says, "Seenta!"
