Poor thing does not like his "white medicine" as he calls it. Every time we give it to him, he begs for "grape medicine" (Tylenol) instead. Last night when it was time to give him his medicine, it wasn't in the refrigerator. We looked everywhere and couldn't find it. We finally asked Campbell if he took it. He said yes, but that he didn't know where it was. We searched the entire house, looking in every nook and cranny (including every trash can) for that medicine. We assumed that Campbell took it out of the fridge and hid it because he didn't want to take it. It was almost comical to think that my son was so smart (devious?) to do such a thing. Finally, I opened a cabinet in the kitchen where we keep medicine that doesn't have to be refrigerated (on the top shelf, of course) and there it was. That morning, Judd had put it there instead of back in the fridge. The first thing I did after finding it was scoop Cam up and tell him I was sorry for thinking that he took his medicine!
Looking back, we should have known that Campbell couldn't reach the top shelf of the refrigerator. He probably agreed to taking it because we were so convinced that he had. He did end up getting a break from taking the white medicine though. After a call to the pharmacy, they advised that we not give it to him since it was left out all day long. We'll get a new perscription today though!
